Try adding your most often used web sites to a TopMenu menu. TopMenu lets you set up targets on and off your computer. When you select the menu item Windows explorer opens up displaying the contents of your target folder. TopMenu works the same way with LAN address - selecting the menu item will open a Windows explorer displaying the contents of the remote location. TopMenu will let you target documents too.
